UPSC Mains Result 2022 Announced

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the final results for UPSC CSE 2022. A total of 933 candidates have been recommended for service by the UPSC

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the UPSC Mains Result 2022 on 6th December 2022. The Civil Services Mains (CSM) exam took place between 16th and 25th September, this year.

The candidates who have cleared the UPSC Mains Exam have to fill the DAF-II online that will be made available on the website from December 8, 2022. Qualified candidates will be required to fill and submit the DAF-2 by December 14, 2022. Candidates who fill in the DAF 2 will be getting the call letters for the interview round. Only the candidates who will successfully fill out the detailed application form-II will be allowed to take the IAS Interview which will be announced soon. As per the UPSC’s latest notice, the Personality Tests/Interviews of the qualified candidates will be conducted from next year

UPSC Mains Result Date

Usually, the Civil Services Mains Examination takes place in September annually after Prelims that takes place in May/June. However, the trend had changed in the last two years on the heels of the COVID-19 pandemic. The examinations had been postponed. Where Prelims took place in October, Mains had been shifted to January since the last two recruitment. Following the change in exam dates, the result dates of UPSC Mains have also seen a shift.

The UPSC Mains result is displayed on the official website of the Union Public Service Commission. Candidates check their results on the official UPSC website by following the steps mentioned below to download the result. Alternatively, you can download the PDF we have given above.

  1. Go to the official website of the UPSC (https://upsc.gov.in/).
  2. Click on the icon that says ‘Written results’.
  3. Then, click on the link which says Civil Services Mains (Written) Results 2022.
  4. From here, you should be able to download the PDF of the document containing the list of candidates who have successfully cleared the UPSC Mains 2022.

      The final year students can apply for UPSC exam. Please note that the candidates’ graduation final results should be out before/on the date of Mains application process starting.

    I wanted to know whether i will be able to give upsc cse 2021 as my birth is on april 2000 and my final year exams will be held in may or june.
    please guide me and also tell me when do we have to present our certificate of graduation and also only the marksheet of final year will suffice or proper degree needs to be submitted.

    • Hi,
      The minimum age should be 21 (As of 1st August of the exam year) to sit for the exam. Also, one must have received their final result before the last date of the UPSC Mains application process. As one has to submit the copies of provisional/final result with DAF during the Mains application process.

  4. hello, can i fill two SEPERATE forms for cse and ifos exam in the same year so that i can attempt for any one exam in the prelims of my choice. i know there is option for both , but i am asking if i can file two seperate forms . pls answer.

  5. Hi Sir, Regarding OBC reservation will non-creamy and community certificate obtained from any of the last three financial year will be sufficient? Or we have to apply for each year before applying for prelims. pls answer

  6. hi i am 31 yr old graduated from commerce stream, i never applied for any pre or mains or any civil servants exams, just wanted to know the first thing that can apply for any exams like UPSC or PCS as per my age criteria, and if yes what are the options i can apply
